Bethesda has announced that Starfield is coming to PC, Xbox One, and PS4. Since the game’s beta release, the developer has stated that it is “not a timed exclusive”. This means that it will launch on all consoles, but not on the other two. We don’t go into this much detail because we know that not everyone reads (or writes) these posts. Bethesda’s Starfield is a highly anticipated RPG from the studio that created the Fallout series, and it has a release date of October 22 in the US. This has been an exciting time for the gaming world, but there has been a question about a possible delay of the game, assuming this was a timed exclusive for the PlayStation 4.
Bethesda has stated that Starfield is not a timed exclusive and that it will not be coming to the PlayStation 4. Even though the console owners aremoaning about Starfield not coming to their console, they will also be happy to know that they will be getting it in the future.

Starfield is the next major RPG from the developer of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, and a teaser video was released in June 2018.
Director Todd Howard later said that it was a game he had wanted to create for a long time and that it had to be right.
Nothing has been seen of the game since, and during this year’s E3, the game’s director encouraged fans to be patient as the game’s formal reveal approaches.
Phil Spencer also said that Microsoft would honor Bethesda’s current PS5 exclusivity deals for titles such as Deathloop and Ghostwire: Tokyo.
However, Spencer said that he would consider other platforms for future Bethesda titles on a case-by-case basis.
This implies that, apart from Starfield, Elder Scrolls 6 will very certainly be an Xbox exclusive, thus Playstation players may want to reconsider their approach if they want to play such games.

So, to cut a long tale short, Bethesda games will now only cater to Microsoft’s gaming community. Everything else is Xbox/PC exclusive, with the exception of a few games that were previously agreed to be shared.
Despite these rather simple explanations, we expect speculation to continue, although it’s definitely a good idea to be prepared for disappointment.
Many fans seem to be dissatisfied with the choice, but there is nothing they can do to change it.
The opposing side is equally unhappy that it won’t be able to play games like God of War, Ghost of Tsushima, Marvel’s Spider-Man, or The Last of Us.
Horizon Zero Dawn and Days Gone, on the other hand, are already accessible on Steam, allowing PC gamers to enjoy them whenever they choose.
All we have to do now is remain connected and keep an eye on the issue. Who knows, maybe the future has some surprises for us.
Starfield is set to premiere on November 11th, 2022, as we all know.
